bad day

Well Wednesday I threw a lighter and broke my arm. Yes you read correctly. I had a hole drilled in arm already from surgery and the hole gave out. Had to go in for emergency surgery and get some hardware installed. Hurts like hell but should be up and running good as new in about 2 months.
One plate and 33 staples. Plate will stay in for ever. Staples will come out in few weeks

Dang bro. Sorry to hear that. I'm glad everything's fine now though. That does sound kind of like a freak accident. Sometimes that's just the way it is. I had a friend trip on a cutting torch hose fall and break both elbows.

Yeah I know. The bad part is he had just healed up from a motorcycle wreck where he broke both collar bones, broke one shoulder blade in two places and also broke the other shoulder blade, broke some ribs and had road rash and had 27 staples in his head. It was his Dads Harley that he totaled. It was the first time he rode it. He was in kind of a big curve and passed a friend and my brother and took one hand off the handle bar to wave at them. My friend said he looked in the rear view mirror and didn't see anything but dust and knew what had happened.

No doubt. Majority of my family was in the service. I came close to joining myself but didn't. A lot of the time I wish I would've.

I'm the only one to join in my family. Besides an uncle that joined the marine corp during Vietnam so he wasn't drafted by the army.

I just had this done about 7 weeks ago. They ended up drilling a bigger whole then normal. It broke right where drilled whole. Plus cracked in several other pieces off that whole.

I had one uncle who joined the Navy so the Army didn't draft him during Vietnam. He pulled 3 tours of Vietnam. 2 back to back. He was on the U.S.S Oriskany. He was on there when they had that bad fire that killed a lot of guys.

Hope you feel better bud. Nothing looks pleasant about that at all except for canceling of your orders to somewhere you don't want to go.
