Re: what is your profession???

I set up and operate a robotic welder at Angus-Palm. We make tractor cabs and roll over protection systems for Case, Caterpillar, John Deere, New Holland, and many many others. Just about every piece of heavy equipment you see in a corn field, strip mine, forest, or road construction site has a cab or roof made by us.

We have been constantly hiring welders and painters for the past 18 months... just can't seem to find people that can pass a piss test

This is the busiest time of year... I could be getting between 60-70 hours a week if I was actually at work. Sadly, I have been off work since May 13th due to a broken collar bone and a VERY damaged left shoulder (my horse decided he didn't want a rider). I will have been out for 10 weeks before my next Dr. appointment. Looks like I may end up having surgery eventually.

Employer says they have nothing for me to do considering my limited abilities.

ok, so actually I am a couch potato.
