I had to laugh...

Went to a local car show this evening. Saw a decent looking Mustang that some fool had sprayed a bedliner coating on the inner fenders, firewall and everything attached to it. Then, I saw a nice '66 F-100 4x4 that had the rockers sprayed with the same. Stupid hillbillies.

Dropping my iPhone on the floor and kicking it across the parking lot. I guess I thought I could break its fall with my foot. Broke the front and rear glass. Yay. :/

$97 a paycheck? Are you talking about the no insurance penalty?

I understood it to be $95 a year for the first year.

Our health care doubled this year. And the extra (if wife can get health ins at her job) cost to cover a spouse doubled. That's almost enough to cause a divorce right there.

$95 per person for the year ($47.50 per child under 18 ). The maximum penalty per family using this method is $285.

The fee increases every year. In 2015 it’s 2% of income or $325 per person. In 2016 and later years it’s 2.5% of income or $695 per person. After that it is adjusted for inflation. Land of the free?

I think its different in each state.

My paper i got said(in a sarcastic way that made me want to punch it in the face) something like: "If you dont want to sign up for healthcare thats okay! Well just charge $97 to the taxes at the end of your paycheck until you get healthcare!" And anyway man 95? 97? Its still 100 im throwing away for something I dont need!

---------- Post added at 11:42 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:38 PM ----------

Oh you were right. It is $95 per person or 1% of household income, whichever is greater.

so much for affordable right??

I had a really bad accident at work a couple if years ago where I broke my leg really bad.

Before that I think I have only gone to the hospital one other time in my entire life for something. And it was when I was a kid when I got bit by a German Shepard

That still sucks. 1% of my income is some serious change. That's more then half of what I pay annually for actual Heath insurance.

And I've still yet to file a claim with my insurance. I haven't needed to see a doctor or ER visit in years.

Land of the free?

Exactly, the people who have to pay it don't need it, or use it as much. Those who don't pay for it use the **** out of the system.

No Offense intended here bud, but, nobody is really running the country. And if they are, it's a joint collaboration of both sides, to run this mother right into the ground. I think it's clear that no one side is to blame in this situation. They're all turds, and need to be removed from office.

I don't completely agree with that.

The president, Congress and Senate are all running the country.

Here's how i think the cards are stacked.

Obama. As with most other presidents; is the one who takes all the ****. Doesn't really have much pull with anything. Just sits atop his throne, taking praise and **** talk for anything. Good ole scapegoat.

Then comes Senate and Congress. A load of idiots, truly responsible For getting jack squat done, aside from nearly bringing on economic doom. But they too, are just puppets. Controlled by none other than...

Corporate Elitists. The men that control the country. Think about it. They are magically allowed Tax breaks that save them upwards of billions of dollars. Look at Wal Mart. They Work our Elderly to the bone, and pay them below Living wages. Who else would get away with this? The U.S. Government THRIVES on Capitalism. The biggest retailers, Bankers, Automakers, You name it, they've all got Congressmen in their pockets. Just like in racing boys. Those with the fattest pockets go the furthest. And once you've got Congressmen, the ones responsible for putting through bills. Well, you've got the entire political system in your bill fold.

Put on your Tinfoil hats boys. It's about to get weirrrrd.
