A Glock 17 (because I've actually shot with one before,) and an AR 15 (because it just looks awesome; I've held one of those before, too.)

Don't forget, everyone: HEADSHOTS

I like a more silent aproach, until hell breaks loose. Then the boom stick comes out! Shotty ftw!

I like the stopping power of my 1911 but I'd spend a lot of time reloading. I'm definitely going to need some high capacity mags.

Could just go with an old school thompson with the drum mags, if you don't mind the extra weight.

True. Shotgun wins every time I'd love to eventually test one out at the shooting range. The National Rilfe Association building is only eight miles away from me.

How many shots can you get out of a 1911 before you have to reload? I know the Glock can hold 17. My knowledge on guns is still at a minimum :p

Re: zombies, zombies, and more zombies

I say get an F350 Powerstroke w/ dulleys, get an 8-10 inch lift on it then reinforce the entire body with armor protection, then mount an m61 Vulcan in the bed, finally drive around and have some fun.

Good idea, i would go with a couple shotgun cannons straped to the sides. The vulcan would be good for mass hoards at mid-range to long distances.

My problem would be i hope all the animals dont get zombified, could you imagine taking on a 800+ zombie bear?

I had a zombie dream once though, and we managed to convert a tractor trailer into a type of mobil living quarters. Actually a pretty good idea can run a few mobile wind vanes that generate some power like a windmill. Can reinforce the trailer walls with steel with gun ports. Everyone needs to have some communication equipment though.

Re: zombies, zombies, and more zombies

The bear will be taken out easily by the m61 though. At camp we had so many zombie discussions... If you are up there with us for 7 weeks you will be a zombie pro. I have so many ideas that i can't even put them all down it here because it would take me so long.

They make 100 round barrel mags for the 1911 (as well as many other guns)
U can also mod the gun to be full auto, not legally in most places though.
