Is the 7mge-t (think I got that right) a good motor though? Can it make reliable power?

Dude drove the one I had until it overheated and stopped. He thought the head gasket was blown, I figured out it wasn't so I sold it.. Mechanic shown a light down the spark plug hole and showed me the piston had a hole in it.. He swore they really tough motors though.

They had a head gasket issue all u do is replace the head gasket and torque is to corrected specs and turn up the boost and bolt ons hello 400hp
