Would this be crazy?

I'm considering trading or selling my Cobra.. (Yes I know I just got it..) And I love it! But I'm already thinking about moving up again. Would it be insane to maybe trade up to maybe an 05-09 GT or something like that? (Even though my main goal is to eventually have a Terminator.) My Cobra has 126000 miles BUT, the engine was JUST rebuilt and fully forged, tranny was rebuilt and so was the rearend. Minor exhaust work, Tune, 3.73s, lowering springs, etc . So idk. Just thought I would get some insight from some fellow Mustang owners. Heck, some of you might would even be interested in it.
Thanks!

Haha. I don't really want to, but I'm about to start college and was thinking it would be good to get into a lower mileage Mustang. But heck idk. Just food for thought. And I don't even know if I could find a trade.

Yea.. Supposedly. And I appreciate the compliment. My DREAM would be to trade a Termi for it. But I know that'll never happen..... v.v

To the OP, What did you decide. Personally I would keep it. If they rebuilt all of the drivetrain like you said you essentially have a new car. One that should last a long time. When I was young like you I was always trading cars. I made some stupid moves because some were very collectible, and others were great runners and paid for. Constantly chasing after something more is a game for fools or people with deep pockets. The economy sucks and the futures pretty uncertain, at least until Jan 20th 2013. Hell if the Aztecs are right there may not be a 2013. I have a very nice 96 SVT Cobra with only 43k miles. I go to shows, read magazines, and Craigslist and drool. But he'll I've got a very nice car. My philosophy is I will hold onto it until I can afford a Shelby or a very clean, non abused Terminator. Until then I'll enjoy it, but keep it as clean and serviced as possible so I can get many years or big bucks for it when the time comes. Just some advice from someone who blew a lot of money chasing the ideal car.

With that attitude it wont! Keep the cobra that 4v is way better than a 3v. Just slap a blower on that cobra and you are set. But if you do decide to sell, sell me your tail lights!!

Re: Would this be crazy?

Cobra is 320hp, 05-09 is 300hp. Sold my 99 and picked up a 05 then a 07 and now a 2011. I would say the only way you are gonna get any extra money out of that Cobra is if you have documentation on those forged internals.
