I just moved a 1300 lb. fish tank from one room to the other. It involved getting another smaller tank for the fish to live in while I removed the water, plants, gravel, etc. from the main tank. Then doing it all over again in reverse. It took 6 hours and it's all done. Finally.

Haha My 110 gallon is nothing compared to some of the tanks I've seen. But I figure that the gravel was about 150 or so pounds all together. Plus the larger rocks and stuff may have been another 50-75. Then the actual glass is about 100, the stand is probably 150. Then a gallon of water equals roughly 8 pounds, 110 of those, so 880. lbs of water. It was such a beast. Lol

I just snapped some quick picks of the whole tank and then some specific fish that were being photogenic enough to take a picture.

In the pictures you'll see:

1 African Leaf Fish
4 Giant Danios
1 Golden Three-Spotted Gourami

In total, the tank holds:

2 African Leaf Fish
4 Giant Danios
2 Angelfish
1 Pleco
1 Upside-down Catfish
1 Pink Kissing Fish
2 Bala Sharks
3 Silver Dollars
...I think that's all.

Some of the fish in there are ten years old. My parents bought it for me in 2003, so it's still at their house. Moving it to my house has been pondered, but I don't think I'll ever try it. They'll have to keep it. Had to move it all alone since my dad's back's no good any more.

You'll have to excuse the piece-of-crap background on it too, I've ordered a new one!
