Ehh idk I've got a lot more into it but thinking 15 on a good day. It's a solid daily driver just a few things and it needs a repaint.

Yeah idk I'm kinda in a rut right now and am trying to get out of it. But it's kinda a pain to drive in the summer heat with a carb and no air. And I'm going to be transferring to a 4 year soon so I need a daily driver so I'd rather sell it and wait for the right buyer than have to sell it short

That sounds like a nice toy. As much as I would like to have one, my wife would shoot me.

I had a 64 1/2 fastback that disappeared. I would love to have another classic.

If I had the car, selling would not be an option.

Yeah it is pretty fun. The engine is surprisingly pretty strong for what it is. It's got a lot of other things too, just what I could spout off the top of my head. It handles really well also.

Love ti get my hands on a classic. My neighbors father has an old Mach 1 almost fully stock from what I can remember. He selling it for around 15k.

If I spent that in cash on any vehicle right now. I'd have no worries what so ever. She'd kill me soon as she saw the account missing 15k and me smiling in a new ride aka my new casket l.

Pit bikes and other toys are more fun than the track sometimes. I raced bikes, and I can promise you that leather and hot sun do not go together in the staging lanes.

Why are drag bikes so fast? It is because we are in a hurry to get back to the trailer and change.

What's up with the Jeep? Dead? Remember that little discussion. Selling and the immediate regret. Any way to get a daily and keep it?
But I get it. Almost traded my Impala for something else a few months ago. Just any possible way to keep it and get a daily?

Well, I still live at home and my parents had to move to Vancouver for a bit but they are home now and my dad took over the jeep. And tbh the jeep is on its last legs it's got a bad knock and rattles. No extra cash for a daily. I'm not going to sell it short though if it comes down to it. I'm just kicking around the idea. I do have an ad on CL for 18 just to see if anyone bites. My parents have it off pretty nice so if it really comes down to it I'm sure they could help me out with a daily till I sold the mustang if i do. Just in a low right now though, personal issues so all that isn't helping I just need to get my **** together and quite being a ***** lol

Engine swap? 2Vs are dirt cheap. Or even a 5.0 out of a fox.

I have seen quite a few Fox Bodies in my area sell for a significant amount more than a New Edge with the 4.6 engines. I think I got my 02 for a good price (I could be wrong, I keep finding different issues). The Jelly Bean Mustangs (I'm going to offend someone with that comment) are almost given away.

If I had the money to throw into racing again, I would be after a 97 or 98 Mustang. That would be the perfect platform to strip apart in my opinion.

The jeep has the knock, not the mustang. There's just a lot that's adding to this decision, I have to commute to basically everything and my area isn't the best for car security so I have to worry about where I take it and park it. And have to constantly to fix little things on it. I mean id rather not sell it but I need a reliable car that I won't have to worry or go def from driving it lol. Idk I have over 25 into it which is pretty sad considering the state of the car but it was the first restoration and I was 14 when I started lol. I'd do just about everything differently if I could on this car. And I still have the t bird so I would still have a classic. Idk a lot to think about.

Engine swap, not cars. A 5.0 out of a fox, to swap in the 68, not the whole car, is what I meant.

When I was 15 my dad and I built a 56 Chevy truck. I wish I still had that thing. You couldn't make me sell it.

Keep the car if you can.

Oh honestly I'm pretty content with my little 6. I get more complements on having it than a v8 in there and it's not too bad on power. I mean I too out at like 70 at like 3500 but it's pretty quick to 30 or so. It's also the original motor I think.

So no fine tuning the carb and A/C install? Out of the question? Just to try to keep the car. I mean my 65 is daily potential; I'm sure that 68 could be too.

Yeah I know what you mean. I have a lot of very fond memories with this car. Although this one was pretty much done only by me, but my dad, brother and I are building a 66 tbird right now so idk. It would be a very sad day to see it go and would probably regret it every day after that lol. The more I talk about it the less and less I'm thinking about selling it. Tbh my gf left me and I had a bit of a mental break down about school right before that so I'm just felt like **** for about two weeks now but I'm coming around now

I have played with the carb so much even had my grandpa who was a mechanic for 35+ years try to help me set it up but it's just single downdraft carb with the log head on the 6s. So there's no way around having 3-4 rich and 1-6 lean, just a ****ty design. And I can't justify adding a/c because I don't know if I'm going to keep the car that much longer or even the engine as much as I like it for the moment

Hope you can keep her. Having issues tuning the six pack on the Challenger. Ridiculous trying to get those two barrels tuned together.

Yeah I could only imagine. There's a head they sell for the l6 that has three one barrels but I'd think that be too much of a head ache. How's everything else going with that?

Self inflicted torture. Water sanding, and buffing and polishing by hand.

The car will look good later, but its not making me happy at the moment.

Finishing up some exam prep and anxiously waiting for my new vaporizer to charge. Finally took the plunge as a potential way to quit smoking.

When is the last time any guy you ever met knew how to take a hint?

Mmmmmm cookies. I like cookies.

I must be going senile at a young age. I don't remember telling anyone they could clean my Stang. However, it is about to start raining down here in my corner of the Country. The ol beast is going to need a bath. Lol
