What are you doing right now?

At the Drive-In with my wife waiting for Sausage Party to start. Oh and watching these idiot parents bring their kids here to watch it.

I can't imagine a parent allowing their child watch Sausage Party. I don't even want to watch the movie. It crosses one too many lines for me personally.

I won't let my son watch it and he's almost 13. These kids are about 3. Makes you wonder how many more parent of the year awards they have earned.

I'm sure they will get their spot light moment in the local, or even national news as they ruin a child's life.

When I was a much younger man I didn't watch a movie in the theater. As a general rule the movie was not nearly as interesting as my date.

Now that I am a father of two daughters I have serious trust issues when it comes to boys and my girls. I trust the ladies I have raised, but I know how guys think. There is not a man alive that I trust around my daughters. I assume this is how all dads feel. Then again, I may be an over protective jerk with a trigger finger and an anger problem.

As long as the young men see me as the latter I may not have much to worry about.

If there is a taboo subject, this movie danced all around it.

profanity, sex, sodomy, drugs, murder, racism and religious beliefs

I stopped being amused long before it was over. If not for the next movie I'd left (2 movies per ticket)

I saw a lengthy trailer and preview. That was enough for me.

^ I have to agree. At first I was like yeah. Why not I'd take my kids to go see it. Then watched a longer trailer and was like "well, oh hell nah!" The title should have given it away, lol.

I completely understand. I thought growing up the only boy, number 3 of 4. Babysitting during my teen years would change my views. When I had three daughters of my own it only made it worse. Even if you are some over protective jerk that just wants to hurt some poor guy, who really doesn't mean your daughter(s) any harm. How do you tell the good from the bad? You can't. So it is safe to assume they are all bad? Maybe. No worries you are not alone.

My two brothers-in-law feel the same as well. One only child and the other has an older brother. Out of 11 grandkids for my parents only 5 are boys. We talk about meeting the guys of the future with the age old rifle on the table or on the porch cleaning around the time he comes over.

In short you are not alone.πŸ˜‡πŸ˜ˆ

I have two brothers. We all three have girls. After watching Bad Boys II years back, my Marine brother grinned and said, "Your daughters are the oldest. We are recreating that dating scene and making it look tame".

Forgive the language. I'm not normally one to use or post foul language, but this fits for us dads with daughters.

That's because you talk about "panties" in your messages...not sure, maybe your phone is thinking about panties.

It is hard. Good to her she is not in that type of relationship anymor3.

One of the hardest things I have is not being super man. In there eyes, I can be mean, but they seem to understand afterwards and it is back to super man. Not being able to save them from everything, my sons included. They get upset when I don't give them answers to their questions. I tell them, this is me making sure you can think and act on your own. I want be around forever and we need to make sure you can make it without my help. I am just a guide and someday, my tour will be over and you will guide someone. Heck your helping me guide you, I am learning from you as well.

I'd purchase something like that. Something about AWD or at least the option. Been wanting to get my hands on a nice Subaru with having to break the bank multiple times.

Considering my options for the $450 LS1 that I was just offered. I am almost thinking that an unlimited class FSAE car could be fun.

If you hurt my girls, I will hurt you. That is not a threat. I have said from the beginning; I will gladly spend a few days in jail and court for my children.

Should add that if he knew I was on the way he would go to his mommy and daddy's house because he knew it wouldn't be a good thing if he was there when I showed up.
