Sonic is probably my favorite fast food place, especially when they have the sweet potato tots

I didnt mean to respond to you :p
But to answer your question. Offset, from what I understand is like back spacing
I. You don't have the correct back spacing, you risk rubbing your wheel against your inner fender walls.

Lol oh.
And I did just google it. Seems pretty straight forward.
This is the same look people try to achieve with spacers?

So in essence, if you wanted to put a 9" wheel in front, but they rub on the outside, you would take a positive offset to bring them in. So instead of going to a smaller wheel width, you could keep the width wheel you want, but just use a positive offset wheel?

Yea, with wheel spacers they push the wheel out, giving it a staggered look.

Let's just say you had 255s all the way around, which equates to roughly 10.2 inches, and you add 1.5 in wheel spacers in the back. It would look like you had 11.7 in tires, which is pretty close to 295

Yes, but usually a 9 in wheel won't rub

Gotcha.

I think the spacers look kinda eh ricerish.
A positive offset in the rear would look nice.
Keeping with the same size wheel, but tucked in the fender well.
I don't like seeing wheels passed the fender sticking out. That's made for jacked up trucks.

Yea, I think it looks best when it's flush against it.

But you have to save some room so that the wheels/tires don't hit the fender walls. That doesn't work to well for tire life.
