Photography or auto shop class

So I am having to make some changes to my senior scheduling and I am down to either photography or auto shop. I have 2 periods open and don't know if 1 period (hour and a half) will be enough to fully enjoy auto shop or will I need 2 periods. My two greatest enjoyments (while fully clothed) are cars and photography. I know that there are some people on here who took auto shop in high school, and do you know if one period will be enough or not. Thanks in advance.

Auto shop will take two hours, you wouldn't have enough time to get out of the classroom if it were just one. +1 to what Sixpac said, photography would be fun but I don't think it would be as useful as Auto.

I used to be into both as well, now I'm thinking about selling the camera for my car hobby. Just lost interest in photography while my interest in cars is now stronger.

Auto Shop. They don't offer Metal Shop? In HS, I started out in Auto but after doing 147 oil changes I said F that! I wanna learn how to weld, not be a lube tech at Walmart. Welding and car customizing come hand and hand. There's my 2 cents.

They used to offer it, but they got rid of it a long time ago. The funny thing is that my engineering manufacturing class this past year was in the old room for that.
The auto shop at my school has 3 camaros from the 60s that they work on restoring, and they actually finished one this past year.
