Reved up/flipped off

I was driving home from gym and got stopped at a railroad crossing waiting on a train. So i pulled up to a g8 and revved up a little bit to just say whats up. So the driver flipped me off then rolled up his window lol.

When I look over just cruisin or rev people always flip me off lmao. I've had several guys yell at me and Road rage try to hit me and pull me over to fight me. I don't get people. Is a rev that bad to get people pissed off to the point of fighting someone. I guess they was just trash.
