Noy saying this was his reason, but sometimes the rods in a 2v 4.6 are happier outside the block

Oh and I paid 10K for my 00' GT with 24,000 miles (circa. 2004)

And 1,500 for my 90' GT with 97,000 miles in 2011.

2011 base GT

paid 27k for my 11' in apr 13'. I also put close to 10K into it on go fast and appearance mods, and couldn't be happier. Yesterday 2 guys followed me into a gas station parking lot just to take pics of my stang. They both said they thought I had at least 80K into it. That made me laugh.

Out the door I bought my 2013 GT Premium for about $36K. That includes the brembo brakes, navigation system, leather, auto, stripes, and premium tires. Normal price would have been $40K, but I bought mine while deployed overseas in Afghanistan. It was a special price at the Exchange for deployed individuals. I had an opportunity and I took advantage.

The way I look at it, I plan to put $4K in mods, so it will be like paying regular price for an upgraded Stang.
