Yep be safe.

I rode out Ike in Houston. I figured it wouldn't be a big deal.. I didn't prepare. I had a 12 pack, a few bottles of water, and some beef jerky.

I was without power for almost two weeks.

Luckily a Walmart I could walk to took cash.

Don't be NEAL. prepare or leave town if it is immanent.

Don't forget about "the landmass between new orleans and mobile". Looks like mississippi is going to get another direct hit unlike the small swipe n.o. Got from katrina

Re: Tropical Storm Isaac

I was in New Orleans until yesterday, looks like its going to hit there nearly directly based on the last data they had online~

+1. Of course since my mustang is my DD right now, she's here in Jacksonville, without a garage, getting abused.

I think it was katrina , when I left houston for brenham on a 6 hour drive that should of taken 1hr.....and ike I stayed put and ended up having no electricity for 18 days...the worst part was that the houses across the street had electricity after a week

Here in south east Arkansas they are talking about a ***** load of rain and possible tornados. Also high likelihood of flooding cause we've been in drought conditions all summer and the ground won't be able to soak in the water fast enough. Might need to put pontoons on my car at some point lol

+1 I'm in Monroe, LA. Little bit more north than most of you. Looking like we're gonna get a bunch of rain. But my prayers are with you guys down south!
