Re: ebay/amazon

I bought Accell COPs from both. Just make sure you buy them from a business and new. Best advice I can give at the moment.

Always buy new, check with warranties and such in case there are any malfunctions.

Re: ebay/amazon

I've bought rotors and brake pads from a business on Ebay...the place was recommended by few fellow ME members so I bought them. I've had them on the car since 08 and they're performing well.

It all depends on what you're buying and as others have said buy new and be aware of warranties.

Re: ebay/amazon

American Muscle was out of stock so I looked around and found my Magnaflow Street Axleback mufflers for $512.00 shipped at Amazon.com

They came sealed in the original box from Magnaflow and were perfect. I needed them fast to have time to put them on before heading to the AM all Mustang show in Pennsylvania.

They went on perfect and fit excellent. I still go to American Muscle first if I need something (since they sponser this forum) and they give free shipping and a nice Forum member 6% discount.

Butch,

The one cool thing about Amazon is they show you where they're finding the cheaper prices. Keep in mind that we do Price Match with any publicly advertised price from our competitors. So, if you find something on Amazon, check to see where the product is coming from. Then help a AM customer service rep navigate over to the new website you found and they'll be happy to Price Match an item for you!

Hope this helps you guys some. Between our forum discount for members with 50+ posts and Price Matching, we should always be able to provide you the best pricing!

Shane

Re: ebay/amazon

Hi Shane,
I tried to get my Magnaflows from American Muscle first but you were out of stock at the time. With the AM Mustang show coming up fast and needing time to install them I had to go to Amazon. If it wasn't for me going the 1,000 mile trip to Media I probably would have waited but My Mustang sounded so silent that I hated driving it without a good muffler sound. I just got my Caliper covers from AM but have not put them on yet. I still need stuff but out of $$$$ right now.

ronnie948,

In that case I completely understand. Who wants to go to a Mustang Show with no exhaust tone! haha. Glad you made it out to the show this year, though. 1,000 miles is a hell of a trip!

Get those caliber covers on asap. They're an easy install and look sharp with any wheel!
