I'm happy for you man. The interior isn't as pristine ad the old 90 but it is damn close.

What does 5.7 in the 1/8th convert to in 1/4 mile? Maybe low 8s?

There y'all go!! Yeah i got a hell of an offer he gave me this and 1400 for the twin turbo coupe!! I jumped on it. This thing is a beast. We will take it to the track either this Sunday or next to see what kinda times I lay down. I say 5.7's at the best. Cause he is and advanced driver and ran 5.9's and he weighs 320lbs. So my 160lb *** should shave some time if I can make some good passes. Either way 0-115mph in 5.9 seconds GET SUM!!

That's a freaking nice Mustang!

Just make sure it's properly tuned, remember the SN95 I posted some time back that had the huge nitrous backfire.

It's tuned properly. But just to be a 100% sure I'm gonna spend the big $80 to have it re tuned and checked out.

Did they give you any tuning logs or info on tuning it?
I'd sure start my own either way.

Yes I have a paper with all his setups. How to jet the carb and change the NOS pills and timing for different amounts. I'm gonna leave it be for now.

Hey fellas. So went to this little fake track thing they do here in San Diego at the Chargers stadium, called race legal. basically they set up an 1/8th mile track in the parking lot lol. Its cheap and something to do, but it is impossible to get traction on a parking lot surface with no VHT and all the water on the starting line from the hondas.

So couldn't pull a decent time out of the beast, but got a trap speed of 97 in the 1/8th

I think that's pretty freakin good. I looked at my time slips and my best 1/8 MPH was 81.6. I think you're scootin'!

Yea I think the best 60 I could get out of it was like a 2.4 HAHA! It was absolutely ridiculous. They need to invest in a damn mop But I was happy anyway. I think with some traction I could see a couple more MPH out of it.

So far as the quarter, I KNOW she's got a 10 second pass, just need to hook.

BTW, I posted a classified ad for some various used fox parts. Let me know if you guys need any of it!

Nice. Hey did your wideband come with the o2 bung? If not summit racing sells them for just a couple dollars.
I think you should go get a base time at the track before you install the rest of the goodies. I am curious of the gains you will get.

No but I have an exhaust shop that will sell me one and install it for 20 bucks so no biggy. Now I just have to take the pipe out lol.

Well as it is I've never really got any traction lol. It needs slicks not drag radials. Just haven't found a good deal on a set yet. It's done mid 11's at like 128 I think. Terrible 60's though

ok, i just want to bring up that the bung needs to be welded in a certain area. i still have my instructions somewhere if you need them since you bought yours used? im not sure if it would be different since they may not be the same exact one. let me know and i will get that info for you.

Hey, sounds like it's going to run pretty good.

Also I wanted to let you know to be careful those hood struts if you have a glass hood. Some are way to strong and will rip out of the hood.

P.S. AEM has some dandy bungs that are taller and designed to let you mount the wideband O2 sensor closer to the heads if you need them.
