Also it would have been a $300 gamble, don't know if it actually worked or not :/

But they do make kits you can buy. If you don't want to buy one, you can still look at them to see what come in it. Then we can help if you need it.
Thanks!

Which one was that?

Also, I plugged in that Jacobs ignition and the input light came on so at least I know it's doing something. Says to gap my plugs .10-.30 over wht is recommended, think I might gap then .15 over or maybe .10 I start an see what happens when I try to fire it up

the battery relocate schematic.

i wouldnt do that bro. its gonna strain your ignition and charging parts. you wont see any gain either. of course a bigger gap exposes the kernal to the mixture better. but it can possible lead to premature failure of other parts. trojan even tested this theory by changing different gaps and the bigger gap didnt do as good as stock. he actually had best results a few thousandths under stock. with that said i wouldnt go over .055

That's what I thought you meant but I looked through all 30 pages and didn't see anything in there unless I missed it:/

Well that's what that Jacobs thing is sposed to do is increase my spark output and what not. It plugs into my coil and the plug on my factory harness plugs into the harness of the ignition box.

Sposed to improve my spark but ill be honest I'm kind of Leary about it but it was on a running mustang with no issues before

yeah i understand. it works the same as an msd amd sounds like it even hooks upmthe same. but imo i still wouldnt gap that big. i dont do mine big either. and i have msd:dizzy, ignition box, coil, and accel wires. you can if you want but like i said it will strain you parts.

Yea, I see where your coming from, I might just leave my plugs the way they are and see if it will fire up and run just fine with it plugged in.

Edit: one thing I've been wondering about is where to mount it, I'll have to use self tapping screws because he didn't have any bolts. Was thinking maybe on the inner fender apron right below the factory hole where the inner fender cai mounts. It is definately a little bulkier than an mad box.

oh yeah btw. i trojan hasnt been online in a bit. but i did chat with him about your box. he said that they are really expensive and are suppose to be pretty good.
at stock gap it will still add stronger spark. if you want you can add a couple thousands. but 15 is way excessive and unneccasry.

you wont really see or feel any gains from an ignition box. but you should have a few benifits. like easier starting, smoother idle, better throttle response, and possibly a bit better mpgs.

So I hooked up the Jacobs ignition box.....it runs but startup is kinda funny, if you hold the key it just cranks and cranks but if you crank it a few times and let go of the key it fires up and runs fine. Maybe I do need to gap my plugs s little?

Did you hard wire it? I had a small problem with mine changing my timing. I found out that the signal wires need to be special wires so they don't get interference.

No hard wiring at all, red and black wires go directly to battery and has a harness with 2 plugs, one plug takes the factory coil plug and you plug it into it then the other plugs into the coil.

Well guys, my fox is dead :'(
Some ****** ran a stop sign yesterday and t-boned me. Thank god I have a roll bar, because it definitely saved me from some serious injury. You can see in the picture how the door wrapped around it, and the outline of the bar is in the outside of the door now.

So hopefully it can be repaired but we'll see. Definitely pretty depressed

Well the body shop says they can fix it. The unibody is intact and untouched, it's just the door and the two panels. So as long as the insurance company will play ball, then it will get fixed. If not then I will take what I can get, keep it and get a new roller
