Search triple charged on YouTube. I think there maybe 2 videos. But I don't remember a whole lot about it. But it was a s/c with twins. And wasn't super impressive, just really fn cool. But the guy says adding a 60 shot gave them almost 300hp because the way they spoiled the turbos. Cool videos.

Ok so this Friday is going to be a grudge match between my car and a co workers Honda s2000(as long as the rain holds off). Last time with my sickly aod I was only able o pull off a 15.1 1/4 mile run. He got me with a 14.8.

I told him I think my car might be at least a mid 14s car now with that 5apd in it but I would love it of I went a low 14. Course he's talking **** saying our not gonna drop a half second to a full second off just by putting in a 5 speed. I try to tell him if he would have rose in my car with the aod compared to with the 5 speed he would notice the huge difference it made in my car, it a whole new animal.

So, what do you guys think my time(s) will be as long as I don't sit there an blow the tires off? Don't worry bout hurting my feelings, I know my car isn't a beast(yet) and just looking for some honest guesses lol.

Well you should be able to pull a 14.7 or so if you can run stockish 5spd times!..
And as I truly believe with stockers you win off the line. Stock stangs don't have much top end so if ya get him out da hole and got yr shifts down hopefully ya can get'em..

Sounds good! I do have more top end with the intake I have now. Might hurt me a little since its not built(yet). I just keep runnin things through my head about how to take off at the line, think 1k-2k rev then a slow dump or 2k-2500 slow dump or full on dump. I don't know, guess I'll find out when I get there heh.

I do know my speedo is off the faster I go. When I was at the track last when it said I was doing 84-85 my trap speed was 94-95 on the slip with my fastest speed was 96 when I held Ono 2nd gear a little longer. I do know it pulls alot harder with the 5 speed behind it.(mod are in my signature if you guys can't see it)

It still pulls until around 6100-6200 then it just gets louder but goes no faster heh.

There's a lot of factors. Temp, track conditions, etc etc. Hopefully you can do even better! Good luck man.

Does it still pull at 61-6200 cuz of yr intake?..only good thing I like about hitting higher rpms before a shift is being closer to the power band in the next gear. But I don't have any trak times to justify I'm going faster.?

Nah, probably after 6k you can hear the car physically being louder through the exhaust but doesn't really pull any more. Still stock cam in it. I only plan to take it to 5800-6k unless I'm feelin froggy and see what it does.

My intake puts you in the mind of the cobra intake on the 4.6s. Just a big air sucker, would be really good on a FI car, that's my big plan is at least a s/c somewhere down the road.

the only benifits on a stocker, for going over 5800 would be what steve said. to stay higher in the power band after shift and for potential for less shifts. but on a stock dyno a 302 falls flat on its face at 5800.

It Tis ze greatest motör in all ze vorld!

I'm trying not to get my hopes up but damn I want her to have a quick time! Keep tellin myself if I can pull off a 14.5 I'll be happy, that's .6 quicker compared to the aod but damn does she pull so much harder with that 5 speed.

Might play with my timing also when I get there. I had it set at 14 after I put it back together but tweaked it a little more. It's not pinging yet and I'm runnin 93 octane.
