Yeah I'd say if you have older than a 4 it is worth it. I heard Apples stock took a hit today though.

The iPhone 5 and GS3 are both good phones that have unique features. The iPhone is a sturdier phone with a better built shell. There is a video on YouTube demonstrating a drop test and the GS3 didn't do so well.

I'm using a 4 now with my new 5 coming in a couple of days. Personally, I like the more compact design of the iPhone over droids.

To me out of all the phones I've had the iPhone has not been the sturdiest. A 2 foot drop and it's over you have to get a new one. The iPhone is like glass and thts why you need a case for it

Very true for the 3GS, 4 and 4S. My wife dropped her 4 the other day and shattered the back glass. The 5 has been redesigned.

Both have their pros and cons but if you do your research, you will find out that the iPhone 5 dominates the GS3. Plus IMO with previous experience, android software is nice and all but the android market has SOOOOOOOO much malware. 2 of my friends with androids got their credit card info stolen and had transactions charged to their cards. iPhone has built in anti-malware and anti-virus while with android you have to/can purchase antivirus/anti malware apps. It's all preference but I prefer the iPhone 5. =]

In what ways does the iPhone dominate? I have been researching and it seems to come down to preference.

Really? I've got the 4 and its been through hell recently. Not a single scratch on the the screen or back.

I also know someone with the GS3 and i personally don't like it... The iPhone just looks so much more sophisticated when you are using it.

iPhone 4S I've dropped it spilled water on it threw it (long story lol) and it still works great. Never even needed a screen protector.

I work in IT for a living so I use my smartphone 24/7 and use it hard.

Android just sucks. It locks up. Crashes. Randomly wipes your phone your pictures are never safe. I've had 13 droid based phones and ill never go back. My iPhone has been the best $200 I've ever spent. Going on 8 months without a single problem. Right before I got this I tried a amazing galaxy nexus (always had android Didint know better) and before I got home it had locked up on my. Took that crap back to the store and said give me the iPhone. Lol

Everyone has different experiences. I currently have the Samsung Galaxy S2 and it is the best phone ive ever had. Everyone i know has problems with iphones freezing. The whole screen shattering from a little drop. My android has never froze or anything. Love it. But thats just me! At the end of the day you can do whatever the heck you wanna do! Lol!

Dang!! Our 4G LTE network is the best! If only they'd take FiOS further.

iPhone on Verizon's network can't be beat!

I got my Son the iPhone 5 a few days ago and he hasn't put it down yet. Lol

He rarely used his 3GS. I played with the 5 for a little bit before I gave it to him. It's nice. My 4S is good enough for me though.

I have been with apple since they were macintosh for the older people out there. I have never had issues with any of my apple products. I have the very first iPod mini released and it still works. With over 65,000 songs downloaded on iTunes. I know where a good product and I know if I have any problems there techs are there to help.

My father has a Samsung and it echoes when you talk and is lagging when you use the touch screen.

But it is a matter of choice do your homework.

Oh yes the old Macintosh's! I remember the tiny screens and big floppy disk. I learned to type on a Mac.

For the iPhone 5? Are you sure? Maybe it's just a display? Because I'm signed up with Lifeproof's website and they'll notify me as soon as the cases are ready for distribution. http://www.lifeproof.com/shop/cases/...FeuiPAodD3kAFw
