Insanity Workout

so i just did my first 50 minute video...good go i'm spent. i've never sweated so much in my life and spend 40 of the 50 minutes cussing Shaun T out, but i kept going. I'm sore, muscles burning, and my legs are aching like crazy, but i feel good at the same time. I'm hopeing in 60 days to see some results with this. Because i'm way over weight, and i'd like to get into a decent form of health. Anyone else here ever work on a program like this? Tips to a healthier life?

here's me and my wife on our honeymoon in May of this year...well over 300lbs if i had to guess. i honestly need to buy a scale. sorry for the tired looks lol...we were a bit tired still from the night before

insanity is just like every other workout plan you will lose weight if you stick to it.
Also you will need to get a good nutrition plan to accelerate your weight loss. if you need help in that shoot me a pm. im not a trainer but ive been lifting a while and know how to set up a diet

Working out is only half the battle, you have to eat right to lose weight. I work out alot, but im doing it to get bigger and stronger but either way eating right will do you good.

Yay!! Good for you!!

I'm starting on my 2nd month of Brazil Butt Lift. I've never squatted and lunged so much in my life. And yes, I've said terrible things to the tv too. Lol. But, my booty looks a lot better!!

I've been thinking of getting another workout program, but I heard insanity had a lot of jumping in it. I think I'm going to try the Chalean Extreme next and build some muscle!!

Do you have a profile on beachbody.com. They have a lot of support groups and good advice. You could get a coach to help with your nutrition too.

Good luck!!

I don't know anything about this workout. That being said, find an activity that is fun or it probably won't last. If you are engaged in an activity, you focus on it and forget you are exercising. Tennis, swimming, basketball, bike riding, etc.
Good luck reaching your goals.

I got insanity to tone up. I'm not overweight by any means, some people think I'm underweight. 6' @ 165lbs, I use to work out all back in high school and football and I have to say this is an extreme workout! I tried the first video to see how it was and I had to stop multiple times because I thought I was going to pass out. Basically had to ice bath afterwords haha! They bumped my hours up at work so I never got a chance to get into it, but Try your best and work hard! Good Luck!

Ive never done Insanity or P90-X etc, however I did start out at 300+ lbs and I have been working out for going on 3 years not. I am down to 220-225.

I would start modifying my diet AND working out else you can learn the hard way that it will require both. If you dont plan to make a life style of it then give up now cuz you will gain it all back and more. Eating good, and eating ENOUGH is the key here. You need to eat 6 times a day and not starve as well. Good amt of protein, fat, carbs. It sounds so hard to get right but once you do it a bit its like second nature. Always have times to eat bad and all that, just only do it now and again vs every day.

Join a gym, get in a routine of going 4-5 days a week. Its actually fun once you get used to it and make it part of your routine. Results (good ones) are slow, but steady if you work hard. Do cardio and weights as well and you will get where you want to be.

I plan to cut on down some more just been trying to put on some muscle (nearly impossible to burn fat AND build muscle )

If you want any tips/etc hit me up its a long road, but its not a bad one. I enjoy it.... now if I can just get back into jogging/running.... hurt my knee running a 5k and I am finally back to normal so just gotta suck it up and get back at it.
