Yea it comes and goes a little sometimes, but I've been pretty consistent for the last 6 yrs. it's hard to always be motivated, I have taken breaks a month or so at a time in the past

I haven't been going heavy lately. Last year I had a max bench of 270 but I was only weighing 170 at that time, I'd be nervous to get under 225 today lol

Yea I hear ya, I lost a lot of weight and strength over the summer but now I'm bigger and stronger than ever. And that includes the 4 yrs I spent in the marines.

Benching 270 when you're only 170 is no joke, even 225 is pretty good. How much do you weigh now?

im a little known lurker - but I love my gym time. I'm there 6 days a week after work. I love strength training with the big compound movements: squats, deads, bench, OH press, etc. I dont really enjoy doing cardio but I do enjoy the benefits FROM cardio so I do it anyways.

My love for the gym ties in with my love for my car ('13 GB Gt Conv) as it gives me an excuse to drive my car to get there

Cardio can suck it haha, I ran all I wanted to and more in the corps so ill leave the marathons for someone else

There's a video where a guy blew his *** out dead lifting. It's on YouTube. I don't wanna search for the video because it'll make me sick.

When I was on a navy destroyer we had a guy rip his chest muscle. He was on light limited duty for like a year. The ship rocked so I liked the smith machine but he leaned toward dead weights

I have never really lifted weights a lot, but now I have a weights class during school and have been getting better. I may not be able to lift a ton, but I can use the muscles like not many people can... I can hang upside down on a horizontal pole (yes I said horizontal, not vertical) by just my legs and can climb really well. Haven't maxed in bench yet but I do reps of 140, and I did a max squat of 300 the other day... I get strong quick though so I should be doing better within the next few weeks. Hopefully il keep with it after high school... 5'10 and 145-150 pounds (I've got a toned wrestlers build)

I'm not lifting a bunch returning from a slight back injury a few years ago! I do enjoy my Gym time when I can fit it in. Last week was a little rough.

I work out after work. So I'm usually pretty tired. Two good pre work out supplement in my eyes are jack3D or 1MR (1 more rep). Those always put me in the mood to lift. Also being as I usually went home and tried to sleep after leaving the gym. I knew I had to burn that stuff off or I wouldn't sleep good. So that kept me moving also.
