Oil supply isn't the major driving factor...it is the refinement of the oil that is the major bottle neck that is really driving the costs up...I think unnaturally.

This new refinery, as was stated, needs to be expedited to get this stuff under control.

It is a step in the right direction, but only a step. It is time to break out into an all out sprint.

It's the Florida coast we need to drill. There is lot's of oil there and the tree huggers won't let us touch it. I work in the offshore oil industry.

Whatever makes you feel better. He has ran up the most debt by far to China. You can keep ignoring it though and act like he isn't a terrible President. He is.

please.

i just filled up last night with 91, $4.77/gal.

We need to start drilling and refining our own like asap. IIRC we just found like 1 trillion barrels worth of oil in either north or south dakota. drill that ****.

who cares? China's entire economy is based on what we owe them. Whats China going to do when we stop paying up? come after us? hahahahahaha. laughable at best. Their entire infrastructure will crumble the day we tell them to either 1) go blow a choad, or 2) they cut ties with us cause we dont pay up. They are the stupid ones. what do they think, they can repo the US?

The people who think the US can keep going on borrowing from other countries and spending uncontrollably are the ones that are mistaken.

and I care.

why?

whats gonna happen when we dont pay up? we are using other nations money and they are just letting us, and they have no way of recouping the losses when we stop paying up.

whats the world gonna all at once stand up and go "you US guys need to pay up, or else......." and well go "or else what?" and theyll go "or else we will impose sanctions on you" and well go "yeah, that has worked out so well in the past, usually we are the ones cleaning house after your failed sanctions, so go piss up a tree."

Hello? Economics 101. The value of our dollar for one. You are absolutely insane if you think the United States is invincible. Words can not describe how absolutely ridiculous your whole statement is.

Look at what is happening now! We have record high gas prices with no end in site. Our country is no closer to being energy independent, our dollar is the weakest it's ever been, our jobs are going overseas and yet you sit here and talk like this country is absolutely invincible. Jesus, move to Alabama and get a gun rack in your truck. You'd fit right in. Don't forget that big black W on the back of the truck.
