Should I support CIA sponsored Tibetan exiles's Olympic boycott movement ?

I checked into the organizer of Olympic boycott. He is a Tibetan exile. His name is Lhasang Tsering . He is now in Greece to stop Olympic Torch Relay. But after I read his an essay, which was posted on the Combat Law website, I found he admitted he is a CIA agent, and had received CIA boycott training. I quote:

"The author was president of
Tibetan Youth Congress and one of the founder directors of
the Amnye Machen Institute. He was also a member of the
CIA-trained Tibetan Resistance Force operated from Mustang, Nepal "
http://www.combatlaw.org/information...21&issue_id=36

So, should we support CIA’s war with China and war with the Olympic games ?

CIA support of Tibetan rebels to resist the Chinese occupation are historically real. However, they ended about 40 years ago. The CIA didn't train them to boycott, but to actually do armed resistance. They trained in Colorado, but operated out of Mustang because it is an ethnically Tibetan region close to the border.

It isn't the CIA's war with China. The US Government is as complicit as can be with Chinese oppression of the Tibetans because they granted Most Favored Nation status to China (under Clinton) and lost any leverage we had to try to win advances in human rights. The US Gov't and, frankly, the US people, don't care what happens anywhere else as long as cheap electronics and other consumer goods keep flowing in. Meanwhile, the trade deficit with China keeps growing (that means we send them more money than they send us because we buy more from us than we do from them) and Chinese banks keep buying up US debt.

Even if it was the CIA that supported it, the moral value of supporting the Tibetan cause would still remain. China's murder and oppression of millions of Tibetans is documented and morally execrable.

Yes, CIA programs should be supported, because they are in the best interest of the United States.

well, please think critically instead of giving some textbook "patriotic" answer. is it in the best interest of the american people (not just our government)? are we being responsible for ourselves and to the rest of the world for our behaviors? as americans, we should remember that our founding fathers did not support their government blindly, or else we would still be a british colony. we should be questioning what our government is doing, both constitutionally and in regard to international law.
