This sucks....

Well yesterday I sold my 65 Mustang and have felt like crap for the last two days now......
Recently I have been getting rid of my excess projects my 93 240SX is gone and now the 87 Trooper II I got will be gone by the end of the week. I can live without those but damn it hurts without the Mustang not being here anymore. I test drove an 04 the other day but it wasnt worth what they had it priced for even with the low miles 12,999 the blower motor made to much damn noise when on and the center console was shacking badly from a bad repair, oil pan was dented pretty badly and the rack and pinion was leaking.... all at 54K oh yeah the transmission was screwed as well sounded like a grenade about to go off.....2:
Well maybe soon I can find a good cheap GT or the heavens will place a 03 Cobra in my driveway. My major thing is rock crawling but gawd I love Mustangs and my wifes isnt helping these matters either with here in a few years crap. ADVICE: Dont get married and have kid(s)!!!!!!

Re: This sucks....

I regret the day I traded in my Mustang for my Ram, If i could go back in time I would kick myself in the nuts and tell me to go home. Now I am going through the process again of finding a mustang. Oh, and that pain will never go away...

I'm waiting on word about a new job and hope I'm blessed to get it but if not a I will keep plugging away applications and praying. Congratulations on your new job may it be the one that allows you to build the Mustang of your dreams and wife's nightmare

At least you did it. It was your choice. That may seem odd, but it helps knowing that it was your doing, and nobody else's. When I was deployed, no matter how bad it got, no matter how much it sucked, I found solace in the fact that I did this to me. It was my choice to participate. I found that knowledge strangely comforting.

What really sucks, is when someone else takes your car away from you. When you didn't want to get rid of it. My Cadillac CTS was totalled last year, and that still makes me want to cry. F!ck, I miss my Cadi...

It sucks, sir, it really does. At least coming to your own conclusion to part with something, for whatever reason, it offers you some amount of closure to the loss.

When someone else takes it from you, there is anger with the sadness, and no closure. I feel your pain.

I am still upset about selling my Armalite AR-50 some years ago. And I am not happy that I sold my Desert Eagle earlier this year... but at least I did it. They weren't taken from me. I made the choice to give them up.

Anyways, good luck with the job hunt. I know how discouraging it can be (getting laid off in February is why I sold my Desert Eagle). But there are good jobs out there, just keep your head up and keep trying.
