Both main candidates suck.
But they are fun

The 3rd party candidates won't get enough air play to have a shot in hell at getting elected...let alone even getting invited to the debates...as well as press time because the press will control the election like it always does.
That shouldn't discourage you to not go out and vote though! Just go out and vote man. It's an extra vote for that candidate. Sure, it may not be the deciding vote but it's a vote of confidence in someone other than the two party circus we have now. There are a whole lot of people who think just like you, that sit at home and don't vote when if they just went out and researched, found a candidate they thought was decent enough to support and the go out and vote the numbers would rise. By not doing it you aren't helping anything, just making it that much easier for the Republican or Democrat to win.

People act like the wire tapping is for every citizen. Sure, the gov't is going to worry about jon q public and make sure he isn't doing bad things...they target those that raise suspicion as a result of other surveillance, intel, etc. don't want to be listened to? don't act a fool and get your name on their radar.
It's not that we think that, it's that it is completely unnecessary and it opens up a huge can of worms by setting a precedent.

On a different note, might I suggest ConflictingViews for these kind of threads. They seem to cloudy up car sights all the time...I know there are about 20 a day on SVTP...yet sites like mod fords doesn't really get any.
I don't even own that site anymore

I haven't found a candidate that represents me or that I agree with yet. If I vote, whether it be for one of the two main ****** bags or one of the handful of third parties, I would be making a decision of "which one is the least bad". None of them represent my opinions, and I won't be out there to vote for them.

Maybe not, but it's still a much better place for these debates than on a mustang forum.

Re: For Gun Supporters/Owners

well this argument in some ways is null and void, you might see 10+ mags get banned again, but i doubt it will be right away.

with the supreme courts decision, it really has taken the power of gun control out of the governments hands in a lot of ways.

Re: For Gun Supporters/Owners

It has for now given the rights back to gun owners....but they have left room to play and until that slack is taken up...well it is still any persons game!
