If his family it's full of mechanics than I'm sure he could do it himself on a stand. If I even get enough for a procharger that's what I'm going to do. I'd much rather save the $1000 or whatever it'll cost. All he'll have to really pay for is the kit, gauges, and tune... But then again, that's only if he has that privilege lol.

SLP how did u go about removing your check engine light after o/r x install? I just bought some 18mm spark plug non foulers, drilled through them with a 1/2 hardened steel bit, screwed the foulers into the pipe, than the o2 sensor into the fouler...works great so far

Yes... "plug-in" MIL eliminators cost like 70-80$ on AM, you can make you or MiL elims for like 5$ but it requires splicing and soldering which I do not want to do at all haha, and tuner is my next mod just need to catch up on alot of things before that (new rear tires, all new brake pads, and new front rotors), so these spark plug non foulers cost me like 10$ and I don't have to be bothered with the CEL right now and will know if something else goes wrong by it now being able to trigger

Can you further explain how this is done. Seems like it's the way to go if you don't want to tune yet which I don't bc I only have 1500 miles on my 5.0

Go to your local auto parts store and ask for 18mm spark plug non foulers, they come in a pack of 2, get 2 packs equally 4 non foulers..next grab a 1/2 harden steel drill bit, throw it on an electric drill..grab 1 non fouler and hold it tight against something ( I used some channel locks and held it tight against a 2'4...drill through the non fouler from the bottom untill your 1/2 bit goes completely through, when drilling metal like this its best to take it slooooooow, repeat this on 1 more non fouler...that will give you 2 non foulers drilled out to 1/2, and 2 non foulers left alone..get under your car and unscrew your rear o2 sensor, first screw the non fouler that is NOT drilled into your non catted pipe, than screw the DRILLED non fouler into that, than screw your o2 sensor in, repeat on opposite rear o2....this way when your car is pushing out the exhaust fumes, it creates a pocket of semi-clean (clean enough to fool the car into thinking cats are on) air in the non foulers and reading as everything is working properly...

Lmao I just straight typed that on my iPhone so fast
