That sucks!! Any pics? Unfortunately, its all body painted... The 10-12 have the lower valence that can take a hit and get replaced if it got struck by a soft blow

Now that's some good luck considering the possible damage. Can you just compound it out

I've gotten pretty into detailing ever since i got my mustang. I reccommmend joining the autogeek forums. There is a wealth of information on those forums, i learned everything i know from it. I purchased a porter cable dual action 7424XP polisher and a bunch of polishes for fine swirls all the way up to compounds for heavy duty swirls and scratches. Got a ton of wax sealants the whole nine yards. When i get home from this jury duty bull**** ill take a pic of my "detailing shelf" i spent way to much money on that stuff its kinda another addiction ontop of modding my mustang. Its a hobby though which i enjoy doing so i look at it that way.

Lol I went overboard and all that stuff isn't needed. I no autozone sells some meguiars stuff. First the order todetailing usually goes wash clay (about twice a year or when you feel the paint has contaminents in it) polish (depending on the typw of swirls will determine how aggresive of a polish you should use if really bad use a compiund) and then wax (two coats if u want extra protection but allow about 12 hours to cure) I would recommend meguiars ultimate compound for heavy swirls oxidation etc. Then follow up with meguiars ultimate Polish. If the swirls aren't bad you can just go straight tothe Polish as it Still cuts a little so it can take care of light swirls water marks etc. Then get a good wax meguiars gold class caranuba or a meguiars synethic wax which is more of a sealant. The sealant will last a bit longer then the carnuba But the carnuba will provide a deeper warmer shine/glow. Get a good detail spray meguiars ultimate spray to maintain the detail. And of course some microfibers and form applicators if you're applying by hand. The quick detail spray will get rid of dust light water marks and bring back that shine you worked so hard to get. I just detailed my trailblazer ss. Took 3.5 hours to wash compound (harsh scratches etc) wax and clean/seal the windows with a water repellent and clean and apply tire dressing. I'm dead. When I get my *** off the couch ill post pics. Hope that crash course on detailing helps.

Whats upppppp .. I'm Drew 24 from Edison, nj.. Was a big part of EastcoastCobra.org until the site fell apart and memebers got different cars.. There were always 2 meets a night in Sayreville on rt 9 at dunkin donuts and they never had a problem with 10-20 cars in the lot.. We'd have cruises quite a bit.. Mostly 03/04 cobras but all mustangs were welcomes.. Thought about building my own mustang forum from the NJ area only.. One day but for now I found this site to be the most helpful and a good place to learn.. I have a stock 12 gt and well it will be for quite a while lol
