Try listening to some good music, or watch some funny YouTube videos. Do something to make yourself laugh. That always helps calm me down a little, before any interview.

Thanks guys. Had the interview I am 9am. I left my house at 8am and was late to the interview by 30MINUTES. Lol. I really fu*ked up. Finding the place was impossible! And I could even get in the place with a comcast id swipe cars. So I was outside for like 20 more minutes. I was ashamed of myself. I did talk about safety a lot. To me it felt like I did excellent. But showing up at that stupid place didn't help. Crossing my fingers guys

I am sure you will be fine, just go in, be confident in your skills and convey that you really want the job - also helps to bs a bit with the interviewers / find out what they like about the company, how they ended up there, etc

practice some answers to the basic questions, many get caught up and have a bad memory when they are put on the spot, have some info to fall back on so you dont have to sit and think dont talk to fast as well

Phase 1 has been completed. I passed the interview. What's next is the background check and drug check -____-. Now that I'm nervous for. Lol.

Why are you nervous about the drug test? You been doing things?

The only reason you should be nervous about not passing a drug test is because you've previously used drugs..

You have to test above a certain # on the test, one time will not put you over it.

Some places won't allow any at all, at least that's how it was awhile back(10 years or so). I'd imagine some states or employers have diff rules/laws.

I'm pretty sure the standards are based on the military model. They allow so much to eliminate second hand smoke.

You are right about the 10yr ago part. The uaw fought to have it changed back.

National labor board laws also state, they have to hire you in order to give you the test. If you pass and don't get hired, you have a law suit.

Hmm it's one thing to partake in "illegal" activities but another to advertise it publicly; especially in an age when employers data mine the Internet for background information on potential hires and current employees alike. Probably not one of your brighter moments publicly admitting to drug use and publishing it.
