you can always buy a little geo metro and take the stang off insurance for a little. (if you dont owe on it) lol. all kidding aside did you look into any defensive driving classes? i know anyone can take them and they take away 2 points and lower insurance with most companies. i was going to look into it also

That is crazy. In a 1 month span back 10 years ago I had gotten 4 <25mph+ speeding tickets and totaled a couple week old 30k+ plus car. My insurance was around $300 a month. Progressive never got there money back I waited my time out and when tickets came off I swapped insurance. You are definitely getting a raw deal.

As the guys above said, shop around. I got a truckload of tickets in my youth and to top it off a DUI when I was 20. I had to pay thru the nose for insurance for that, because I lived in the inner city and my age. When I turned 25, rate went so low I didn't know what to do with the extra $$$.

By then I was living in a town with only 4000 people.

When I had my 02 GT in NJ back in 04 I was at 200/mo (2400/yr) I was 20 at the time - definitely shop around.. My buddy in Cali fully covers his f430,sl600, 5.0 gt and a handful of other cars for around 700/mo coverage - full with 500 deductible on everything... An 800/mo car payment would get you an is-f easily.. To own, not lease... Or a gt500...

My 06gt right now is 82/mo full coverage 1k deductible..

You're getting hosed, even for nj
