Can't as far as I believe. It's something to do with the stock ECU tune.

Have you held down the brake and held the trac control button down for 5-7 seconds until it says advancetrac off? If you just press the traction control button it'll only kinda turn off traction control and it's a pretty big difference

2013 autos can't do a burnout. The stock ecu activates brake over accelerator and won't let the engine rev past 2000, even with the advancetrac off.

Am not too sure but just try and turn the traction off not the stability. So just press it once and try it out. Hold the brakes and punch the.gas and release the brakes just a bit .. A tad bit lol

The '13s have botched programming. The disabling of advancedtrac doesn't disable the brake over accelerator function. There are threads about it here. I know JerryC that has the convertible V6 had a guy tune his and found a way to bypass it. Anyway...

'13 Autos Cannot Do Burnouts, Stock.

You have to have an aftermarket tune to get the automatic to do a burnout. The torque management program in the stock tune overrides everything and you are limited to 2,000 rpm. Once you get the tune no problem.

My car was the test mule for Doug at C&L. It took several different tunes to figure out how to override the system. He sent me one file that turned off TCS and Advance Track in the tune - no luck. But he sent me a new 93 street tune as well that day. I loaded it up for the drive home and decided to give it a try on a brake stand as well - and smoke started rolling up off the tires. I called him and told him that his tune didn't work but to check the new street tune because whatever he changed there did it.

You can get a race tune now from AM/Bama that has the tuning override in it for burnouts. They had it a couple of weeks after Doug figured it out. With Doug's street tune I can do a burnout, but with the Bama street tune the torque management is still in place and only their race tunes seem to have the over ride.

That's not true for me. All three my tunes can do burn outs and donuts easy! I have 91 street 91 hybrid 98 race (I buy my race fuel from a friend who goes to Phoenix for race fuel)

Interesting that you can do burn outs with the street tune - mine acts just like the stock tune and holds at 2,000 rpm. Maybe it's because mine is one of the first that Bama sent out.

What kind of times are you putting down with the 98 tune?

Well I've only ever gone 98 once cuz the gas is so damn expensive it's almost 4.50 for it cuz the guy orders it. But with all my mods and after 5 runs that night my best was 14.5. But remember my location too if I was in Vegas I'd break 13's
