No way! You know LJ? That's so awesome!!!!! It's an old song, but my favorite one from Sevendust has to be "Live Again." It just sounds soooo epic.

Trivium is AMAZING! Throes of Perdition is one of my most favorite songs! I was actually playing one of their songs, The Crusade, on the way home from the mall today. Too epic

Well, you would Though you guys must've been exhausted afterward; it's a fast and furious song. I love it!

Slipknot anyone? Lamb of God and Pantera for me. It's not death metal but static x's "Wisconsin death trip" and "destroyer" are a few of my favorites.

Side note - my user name is my family's guitar hero band name (or it was). When my daughter was younger she used to tell people that she's the drummer for War Machine! Hilarious.

I still have some of Static-X's old songs. Burn to Burn is my favorite, and Black and White is a close second. I also have one from Wisconsin Death Trap, called Trance is the Motion

Sigh.... I must be the only person in the world who's yet to try Guitar Hero. I've been occupied with so many other games that I just never got around to it lol!

I know it's tough finding good metal nowadays Other bands I listen to include the following....

Rammstein (German band. I like their older stuff better.)
Breach the Void
D'espairsRay (Japanese band. Listen to their song, "Tainted World.")
Deadstar Assembly
EmpYrios
ExistTrace (all-female Japanese death-metal band)
In Flames

Would you happen to know if they're new? They don't even have a wiki page. I'm taking a shine to their song, Pleasure and Pain

Good for you I've always wanted to learn the guitar. I like some progressive metal and nu-metal. But melodic death metal is my favorite. Industrial metal is a close second.

I feel old, I haven't listened to anything hard in a long time. Lol. Except Slipknot, I love Corey Taylor

Back in the day tho, I liked Six Feet Under, Sepultura, Pantera, Crowbar. I'm sure there was others, I just can't think of anymore.

But I will never ever get tired of Slipknot!!!! They are awesome

Here are some of my similar favorites...

Bullet for my Valentine
5fdp
Woe is me
Mudvayne
All that remains
As I lay dying
Stone sour
Slipknot
Asking Alexandra
In this moment
Picture me broken
Atreyu
A day to remember
Escape the fate
Silverstein
Story of the year
Hawthorne heights

I listen to pretty much everything .... I really wouldn't consider most of these death metal ... But maybe just metal/rock

How did I leave out Mudvayne? Good call. I just went thru my favorites and hed PE and System of a Down seem to be left off our growing list.

What's everyone take on SOD? I honestly can say I like every song or anything with Serj.
