Yeah, boy or girl, it's Shelby. Either that or Carroll lol! Tell her to pick the one she likes the best. If she won't go for it, we will move on to initials of names that will go with SVT.

I concur! As a kid I hated being called Andrew, so I went by Andy haha

But now people know me as either. When I got to college it was just easier.

Andrew FTW!!!

Before we knew we were having a girl, we made name tags with names we liked and put them on the living room wall so we could see them over and over before deciding.

We decided on: Ty Carlisle and Lillian Rose, both have family ties. We found out it was a girl and went with Lillian Rose.

Congrats and good luck with the choice!!!!

Or John, or Scott. Really doesn't matter which one you pick, as long as it is one of those.

Just remember if you go with a different spelling of a usual name it will forever be misspelled.
For example my wife is Tiffeny, most everyone puts Tiffany down, even after we make several points on how it's spelled...

I hate when people give kids names that aren't spelled in usual fashion.

That would be a good thread, horribly misspelled names.
