Tool kit

I'm making a road side emergency kit, just the basics I would need for a break down. Any suggestions

Duct tape... Steel wire... Shop gloves... Multi-tool... Moist hand wipes (following repairs).

All the above are good suggestions. I always have an extra serpentine belt. Never know when one of those may let lose and leave you completely stranded. Definitely a little cheap LED flashlight also.

These are all great suggestions, and things I already have! All I need is something to put them in

Blankets
Spare tire
Those little reflector things
A better jack than the ones that came with the car
Battery cables (damn I'm on a roll,
I forgot what they were called. I was just at autozone too)
A knife
Wrenches
First aid kit
A change of clothes
Gloves
Some water
A gallon gas tank

Not all needed, but it doesn't hurt to be prepared

a 2 ton bottle jack is a cheap thing that you'll love having...it's the size of a coke bottle but will be so much better then the scissor jack you currently have...plus they aren't too heavy

Nice ill go run to auto zone tomorrow and pick some stuff up. It would be nice if American muscle threw together a kit.
