Well I like the regular cab long beds for a farm truck. But I like the crew cab short beds too. Like the gray one I posted.

---------- Post added at 06:22 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:22 PM ----------

And I'd love to be able to pull my car that'd be awesome save some miles.

Guys. I know it's a noobish question, but I've never had any experience with it, what is a "lifter tick" is it serious? And is it expensive to fix?

I'm looking at buying a car with one, but I'm not to educated on it. Good or pass?

It's not a noob question. It can be ok. Does it go away or is it constant? There was a thread on it the other day. Let me see if I can find it.

---------- Post added at 10:16 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:13 PM ----------

It's '13 new stang with a collapsed lifter.

Search for it. There was some good info before it got all stupid.

What kind of car and what motor? If the car has over head cams it does not have lifters or I have been drinking to much and well. I would think it is more of a pining because of bad gas they sound almost the same in other words we need a little more info. If it is an older car then a lifter is an easy 1 day fix.

This is true. The DOHC cars have "hydraulic lash adjusters".

Not too expensive. Just make sure that's what it is first. It's not that bad of a job. They will look a little different than any lifter you've seen.

Just a time consuming job. Which side is the peck coming from?
