I gave Lola Mae a bath today too. She was covered with dust. It's been windy here the last few days.

It's pouring here in Lebanon now. We needed the rain but, I hope it is clear during our meet weekend. I don't want to sit in a motel room for 2 days or cruise wet roads. We need a light breeze and some sunshine. So, I checked the weather predictions for Fulton...

I have about a 4 hour drive Saturday morning to make it. I want to try to keep the bug shat off the car as much as possible. Blue masking tape on the front should do it correct?

I really hate the summer bug splatter, but I won't be covering my paint. I'll more than likely be biting the bullet and visiting Bob's Car Wash in Fulton on Saturday morning. It's not too far north of the dealership and just off Business Route 54.

I might jst get up Friday morning and drive instead of driving down Thursday. Tryin to plan out the week and I'm off Thursday and Friday. I was gonna stay Thursday but ahhhhhh lol. Idk. I'm thinkin Friday makes more sense right? Nobody else gonna be there on Thursday.

+1 I took them off once and the paint is kinda faded under them so its eather replace them with real ones. Leave the hood with 2 faded circles on it or get the whole thing repainted...

About the hood pins I would worry about the wire blowing in the wind across my paint. I am not a big fan of the pins on the newer cars. But it is your ride make it the way you want.
