Would y'all drive 12 hours?

I'm with Caleb. It's just ideas. I don't want anybody to get upset or anything. We figured this year out, we will figure it out for year 2. I just want us to meet again and have fun and it be fair to everyone.

Lets do this. Let's start a list of places with attractions. Then we can choose as a group where to start planning. How's that? The ford dealership there was great to us btw. We should get them a thank u card or something.

Cranker, if we had attractions around Columbia, would that have been better, if we extended the stay?

Cards are in St. Louis. Columbia is a huge college town, idk if there is much. I have a friend who graduated from MU, I can ask her.

St Louis is not far away at all. There is all kinds of free stuff to do there. The zoo is free. All kinds of free stuff.

---------- Post added at 05:35 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:35 PM ----------

I know, I was just saying the drive from Columbia to St. Louis would be another two hour drive.

We just didn't have time to even scratch the surface of what was around us. I didn't even have time to look and see if there was attractions other than what I saw in St. Louis. Free zoo, free whole donated park where all the attractions are free. Lol

So who thinks it should be like 5 days? (The meet I mean?) we could plan 1 day on our own to do what everybody individually wants to do. A day to cruise, a day to go to ford and cruise again. A day to just hang out as a group and do something fun, all together.

Columbia is where you go to go out to eat with the family on the weekend, so i know columbia like i know fulton, and their isnt a lot of "attractions" per se, but we could figure something out... maybe stay in st. Louis and come over to fulton for a day for the show and then go back to st. Louis by way of hermann so we could hit up the winery like we wanted to do this year. Then you got six flags for the kids if you bring them, or hell id like to go to fu@king six flags! Then the zoo, watch the cards kick the brewers @sses, the arch, city museum, BUDWEISER TOURS!!!!!!! I think a trip to st louis with a day in fulton would be great!

I think we have a lot of time to make it happen. I wanna be as fired up about year 2 as I was year 1.

I dont think its so much me, as much as, the fact that we got

1. People who don't wana commit to a long drive
2. People who don't get a lot of time off/ make a lot of money

So no ones gonna agree on anything.

Like, don't take me wrong guys, you're great. But driving 12 hours to see a zoo isn't my idea of a good time.

---------- Post added at 04:57 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:54 PM ----------

Now shooting animals? All for it.

Then come to my house lol. We can do that 24-7.

I don't think any of us are rich, we all work 9-5. I would drive back to Columbia right now cause I know that 20 out of the 24 were there.

I think no matter what we should talk about staying a few more days. It went by so fast all I remember is driving lol. It was worth every second.

Let's gather ideas of places with attractions and go from there. We have only been home a few days. We have about 11 months to plan. We will get it figured out.

---------- Post added at 06:07 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:04 PM ----------

I think we can make it work for everybody.

Yeah sorry, don't wana be a bum. But with car troubles and driving 9 hrs both ways it just felt like a weekend of traveling, and not enjoying what my car is all about.

You're spot on with the extended time. And I believe just as importantly we also gotta have a game plan this year. It was somewhat of a scramble.

I think that'll help fox everything.

Can we vote?

3 days
4 days
5 days

I like 5 days.

It'd give us who travel time to rest and get to see things.
