Starting out around $40-45k

http://superlitecars.com

The affordable supercar that you build yourself. You get a rolling chassis and all you have to do is put the drive train in and wire it up.

Z06 is an amazing car I've driven one but I can't own a gm product the only vette I'd own would be a 62 split window or it's a 63 I always get that wrong but it'd also have to have a 427 under the hood that's the only vette worth getting. If there's another I'd like to hear it.

Ask away brother u showed fer the meet til next time all show ups got props no offense to no shows jus da facts. We met and hung out all day at least, some for all three days gettin to know each other so again no offense I don't know everyones sitch but I tend to give more sway to beins I've met face to face who did what they said. Not sayin anyone is but there's a hell of alot of trolls on the net. Oh and yeah it makes a big difference old or new supercar technologically speaking its like comparing a P 51 Mustang to an F 18 Hornet just my opine Peace!

Yup driven a 63 vert the year I was born I think it had a 327 365hp 4 spd, driven a 68 my fav 427 4 spd, my buddys got a '95 I just drove and yeah I'm irritated about the bailout but for a supercar I'd still buy a Vette for the simple fact they are made in the USA and cost way less but keep up with the big boyz so I really don't want to debate the issue lets just agree to disagree Peace!

Oh dream car fer me would be an authentic 427 AC Cobra it still beat the new GT 500 almost 50 years later on the road track not the strip the GT was quicker but aaaoooooggaaahh!!!

My plan goes as this.

Every 2 years, upgrade my car between 10,000$-12,000$ more than the previous years.

example; 2012 I bought a 18,000$ dollar car, I attempt to get 16k out of it this fall, NOW, 2014 comes up and I go and buy a 2007 gt500 for 29,000$. Sell it 2 years later, completely payed off, For 25,000. Then I buy a 37,000$ car and repeat the processes.

Hopefully by then my pay will increase, so I can start going more then 10-12k more each year to something more like 16-18k

I don't see why in 15 years I wouldn't have a 115,000$ car.

Gotta agree with mystic I'd love to have a genuine 66 cobra 427 in the classic blue with white racing stripes.

U go Nate yeah man sounds like a plan ta me. I'm really wantin a Tesla Roadster sittin next to the snake plugged in ready to scream. They've extended the range to 300 miles zero emissions and zero to 60 in 4.2 seconds (2014 gt500 3.7 - 2014 ZL1 3.9) and consumer reports says it is the best car they ever tested. $74,000 no fuel kinda offsets the price and instant power zero lag just a thought zoom zoom zoom!!

to me owning a supercar is all about the awe of it...how many times have you seen a vette or something in a resaurant parking lot and been like"nice vette" but just walked past it...now how many times have you seen a lambo or a ferarri and been like"dang! an aventador!" then taken a pic or something...there is just something about a true supercar that you can't get when you build a car up

If you can pay off $29,000 in 2 years you will be A long way towards that goal. I think this is a very reasonable plan.
