Different rims and taillight trim would make a world of difference

My dad had an old straight 6 f150. After he sold it to his buddy, it got caught on fire 3 times. Still ran like a champ.

Agreed. My uncle had a 95 straight 6 beat the hell out of it and it still ran great. We had a 95 f150 xlt with the 5.0 5 speed, put 320000 miles on it and never had to tear into the motor. Wish i had another one just like it

For me almost 4 decades of drivin had the best luck with Ford trucks from a '64 short 1 ton to an '01 1/2 ton 4wd never had anything but regular maintenance to do to any of em. I'll never buy another Chevy had an '03 with less than 100,000 miles that dropped the rear end no sign of leaking before it happened we had just paid it off pi**ed me off.

How ever I did go pick up a new dd for winter she needs a lil work but with some redneck body work and a rustoleum paint job she should look decent in a few months and 900$ for a 4x4 that runs amd drives fine... I couldnt pass it up ive always loved these 73-79 fords and now I have one!

1979 f150 400 with a 4 speed

One of the cleanest vehicles I've ever seen in any car show was a 79 f-150. It was slightly lifted and was silver and red. They had painted and cleared under the truck and wet sanded and buffed. They had to spend years restoring it. We had a 78 step side growing up. It was a beast!

My uncle had a 79 f-250 long bed single cab yellow 4x4. He dropped a 428 in it. It was the best toy ever. Sadly they sold it before I was ever old enough to drive it.

I don't think it's politics really, I think the media made this guy look evil, and that's not really fair.

All I know is that where I'm from, you get shot for snooping on other people's property.
