I guess. All in all I've had a pretty bad experience with them. Idk if I'm unlucky or what.

Are you sure that is why? I figured you smelled really bad and nobody would move close to you, just like me

My neighbors used to gripe about the noise my '90 Ranger (2x4) S/C 3.8 used to make. I muffled it down some to keep the peace, but I damned sure won't be pulling the Heartthrob Flowpacks off my 5.0 for nobody. I'd be more than willing to issue everyone earplugs though. Yeah, I can be a nice guy at times.

I will be taken it apart this winter to restore it. It has been sitting since 1993 in TN until 96 then it went to WA on a trailer and sat there until I just went and got it last month. I will be putting a new paint job on it next summer some time I hope.

While were on the subject, any tips for a better 60' time? I'm waiting til the crappy stock pirelli's wear out before I throw some better rubber and wider tires in back.

I'll be 100% honest, I've never been down a strip but I read a lot there are multiple factors to a good launch.

1) tires
2) correct rpm (do multiple launches at different rpms, more is not necessarily a good thing)
3) focus on you and your car not who is in the other lane

---------- Post added at 10:40 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:40 PM ----------

Suspension also plays a part in your 0-60. Springs, lcas, etc

I know I need better tires...my hate for the P zero's grows every day. I felt like I found my sweet spot for launching.

Suspension wise, what component would help me the most? I eventually wanna get an adjustable UCA, LCA's and panhard bar to start. I've heard the best place to just is a UCA...

Couple thousand.... Or you could get a maco for a couple hundred :/ but I would never put that on my car.

I would say LCA but that's my opinion. They will reduce wheel hop and keep you planted.
