Happy B-day all. Well it is late Oct and I am still fighting the cold weather. I hope to have another few weeks of driving before I put her up for the winter

I can't wait to get 275s in back. Still on the stock 245 Pirellis. I'm going to wait until those are worn out first though...might as well use em up. I think I'm going to go with the continental dw extreme contacts.

Be careful when it rains... My tail slids out every time on a highway ramp loop and that's only going like 40 the second I touch the pedal I'm drifting the ramp lol they are great at first but at time goes (4-5 months) brace yourself when it rains and after that time period it gets hasty on dry pavement too good thing you will be investing in another set of tires just as I will be too

---------- Post added at 01:24 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:23 PM ----------

Also I have 285's so lots of slip with slightly more rubber to the ground

Wish I could of gone wider really! I like the look of really wide tires, my bros got 10 inch wheels and 285's on the back of his 08 looks sweet.

I ran HTRZ II (275/40ZR-18s) on my '07 GT. Best rain tire I ever owned. They shed water like crazy, making the car more sure-footed. I'd buy them again.

In running 40s all the way around, did you have any camber problems? A Tulsa dealer installed the tires on 9.5" wheels and failed to re-align the front end to ensure the wider tire tread was planted more flatly on the road. The tires were "out" at the bottom, wore badly on the inside and later on, caused tire whine. My local dealer installed aftermarket camber plates for me and straightened the front end up. In doing so, it took the alignment out of Ford specs, but the severe wearing stopped. She steered better too.

I don't know if this is fact but, I hear my preferred dealer (Don Vance Ford of Marshfield/Versailles) is buying out Machens Ford in Columbia. I'll keep my ear to the track and see if this pans out. Don's a good guy.

I haven't had any issues yet, only put a couple hundred miles on them though and I only have them on the back.

I think they do pretty good not great in dry conditions and I really like the look. It did get a little slippery on me in the rain but I was bein slightly throttle happy lol. I kinda hope its still in missouri, if not it will be closer to all of you guys and ill have a long trip but that's fine by me

I'm happy with my '14, less the shifter mounting. Stupid design to mount a shifter to the hump. But, if I'll stay off of 7 grand, it's not that bad. Whiteline tranny mount insert and Barton two-post bracket is on the way from CJ Ponyparts. That'll help some. I like to experiment.
