Also did they give it a good bath to get the burnt rubber off the quarters?

Here's the damage guys, haha.

Mechanic said he would sell me his 94 250 for $2100, it is mechanically sound though, unlike mine. Should I try to sell it back to someone?

Well most of the work I see it needs I could do in a few days myself. I have been working on cars and trucks for a lot of years now and none of that scares me away from this.

Here are a few questions for you.
Is this going to be a daily driver? If so then maybe the other one is a better deal
Are you mechanical inclined? If so none of these are hard to do

Do you have the tools and time to fix it?

The easiest way to fix this would be pull the motor and tranny and replace the seals and gaskets oil pump, water pump. Motor mounts and tranny mounts and replace the motor This will take care of any oil leaks the coolant leak should be found this way also.

Pull the tires and replace the U-joints and brakes in the front axle these are normal wear and tare items.

Do you have someone close to you that knows how to do this kind of work that you could work with to Get-er done?

If you are not so inclined or don't have the time then place it on Craigslist and buy the other one.

Couldn't tell much trav. Looked like it could have corroded. As long as it had been since they have been changed, it doesn't look like anything serious.

Finally got some time today to work on the truck, and it's back together and started. Now tomorrow I'll test it out with a drive. Cross your fingers!

You coulda had this for $2750 T, 4wd isn't all it's pumped up to be. Its been my experience with a decent set of snow tires and a little weight a two wheel has gotten me through many snowstorms including Colorado blizzards.

4 wheels suck more fuel, cost more to purchase and maintain I never owned one til I moved to the lake then realized I didn't really need it then. I won't buy another 4 wheel unless I wanna get into heavy off roadin. Good luck with the sale brother!

Hey Travis, looking at that list, is the windshield cracked and all that? There is a lot of that stuff that is not a must to fix it.

I know mystic, I just feel better with 4wd, I've always wanted one and will most likely doing some off roading. I didn't want to spend more than $2000.

Yeah, the windshield is all cracked. I know I can fix pretty much all if it, but I don't have the proper tools, garage, and people.

Gotta disagree with mystic on this one. 4x4 is where it's at dude. I also drive in the snow 6 months out of the year too...

I would have never pulled down to trees in my backyard without 4WD
