Ryan, retirement is hell and I should check my schedule, but what the heck... I'll go ahead and confirm my availability for that timeframe. JB's weekend suggestion works for me too.

Cheaply of course lol. But yeah, I would love to take some time to chill, hangout, and take the wife to do a little shopping or something. Lol

There's a Drury over by the mall, you can never go wrong with a drury. I stay in them all the time for work.

IMO, Drury is about the best in town. The ones by Fridays are nice as well. Avoid the Budget Inn, Red Roof Inn, Econo Lodge,...etc.

Maybe we should call with the number of people and see if they will give us a better rate.

Get together date set!

I'm free that weekend as of now! Count me in! I'm up for as many days as you guys are, 3-4 sounds like an ample amount of time to chill and cruise.

Well I have to figure out if I can make it. I didn't want to drive down that way twice in a month. I am working on going to the MCA show in Springfield IL on the 22nd of May. If I don't make that then I will make the get together. I have kids and Grand-kids in MO so I do drive there a lot just not in the Shelby because they live on a 2 mile gravel road.

Well, Perhaps you might consider parking your pony at my house and you could use my F150. Only bad part of that is you would still have a 1/2 mile of gravel to drive down to get to my house. I take mine up and down it but just means you have to detail it again...

Hum I might think about it but um well I really don't want to run to Springfield stay in a hotel then 20 some days later run to Columbia and stay in a hotel I need to get the Shelby down that way cause I have a lot of family that wants to see it but the drive on 72 an beyond is tuff on a car and on me plus the hotel bill will be more then the free points I have.

Na it is driving season I will drive it cause it is not a garage queen even thou there are only 8 more like it in the world. If I get my 150 I might find a trailer to tug along and make both but I will not know till April after I get back to work. Having 3 months off in the winter is nice but having a cast on and not being able to go anyplace sucks but I do save money. We shall see

I have no idea. I did a little bit of poking around and couldn't find anything big going on.

I DID call and the lady says they have plenty of rooms available during that weekend. So, Expedia, HotelsOne and others publish bogus info! The Country Inn IS NOT booked.

BoB are you gonna be able to make it? I know it's quite a trek from where you are but you could meet up with Steve and cruise in with him!
