Do you mind if I ask how much the tune and everything costs? I've looked into getting a super/turbo but I've heard in the range of $800-$5,000 for install/tune

Heck I would attempt to make a flyer myself if I had some program to do so, any suggestions as far as that goes? Im hoping I can be there friday through sunday, we might have to find a nearby dragstrip one day. I'd like to see everybody's car loose a little bit of rubber hehe

Photoshop would work pretty well. Unfortunately I don't really have any kind of programs to design a flyer and I don't think paint would quite cut. Otherwise I'd give it a go.

As far as finding a drag strip, the only two I'm aware of is the 1/8 mile strip up in Cameron, which is about a 2 and a half hour drive from Columbia, and Gateway Motorsports just across the river into Madison Illinois which will be about a 2 hour drive from Columbia and its a 1/4 mile.

Now here's an idea to throw around. I know there's a municipal airport up in Macon (approximately an hour north of Columbia), there's the Columbia regional airport, and there's one in Fulton too. I wonder if there's any way we could pull some strings and throw down some passes down a runway? We could measure out a 1/8 or 1/4 mile, depending on the length of the runway using either mine or Travis's track apps to get an approximate distance. Set some cones up and have some fun!

Your right... thats quite a drive to hit the strip, only other track I can think of is at Rogersville but I bet its over two hours away. I can look up the numbers for the runways and see what they say, if you guys think its worth looking into!

Go for it tcopp... You are the only person that has remotely shown any interest. It's your project now! Just make sure you get a few things in there: 2nd annual mid America mustang and Ford meet. Sponsored by Fulton Ford and mustang evolution. The date of the car show. Free food and drink... Etc. Other than that get crazy!
