Heck yeah man, my brother just got headers and full exhaust for his 08 v6. We're gonna be installing all of it tomorrow. I'm not sure what a v6 with aftermarket exhaust sounds like hope it doesn't sound like a ricer lol

Travis, when we get back to Missouri, will you have your wife talk to my wife about exhaust? Lol. Mine says no! Birthday coming up next month. All I want is high flow cats.

Holy moly. I've spent one hour trying to get two nuts off, and I still haven't gotten one off! Then I still have to get two more from the other side. It's where the cats connect to the headers. Blah.

Are those the ones you gotta reach from the engine bay? I'd heard to spray the hell out of them, get an impact, a few extensions and a swivel socket and it should somewhat cooperate.

Impact is the only way to go brother. I bet if u called a shop, they'd put it all on for less than a hundred.

I'm sure they would. I got them off. Now I'm kinda stuck because I don't have enough clearance to get the ota pipes off. That'll be my exciting project tomorrow.

Get together date set!

Yes I got it. Bought another extension and had to hammer the nut onto the bolt. Stripped the bolt but got it off. I bought stainless steel bolts/washers/nuts to replace them though.

Edit: UPDATE, got the cat deletes and beginning of new h pipe on. Headed to the store now to get a saw zaw...could not get the ota pipes for the life of me.

UPDATE 2: ALL THE PIPES ARE ON. WOOOO. Biggest pita ever. I just have to get my torque wrench out and torque all the bracket bolts, then I will be putting the CAI on tomorrow.

I just hope the exhaust doesn't break apart when I'm driving. Ha.

Well last weekend I replaced all the valve seals on my car which took two whole days. Today we took my brothers car to my buddies shop and abused the lift, took the entire single stock exhaust off, put on some long tube headers high flow cats and flowmasters. Actually sounds pretty nice for a v6, took us about 7 easy going hours!! Bro said he's ordering a tuner in about a month

All finished. Only problem is a clunking sound from the rear when driving. One of the pipes must be hitting something. Sucks cause I won't be able to fix/look at it until Wednesday.

I fixed the clunking sound. I went back under for an hour last night and adjusted the ota pipes a bit. I know where it's hitting now though. Here's the vid, just a quick snippet. Warm start.

I finally got to drive it around town today. It's ridiculously loud. Haha. It echoes when I'm in between two cars now. I'm satisfied.

Setting off car alarms as you drive by is always fun
