Even though the Columbia club has certainly enriched us with an invite to their get together in June should we still think of an event name? Just us guys from ME? Not trying to step on toes just would like to have a name for us out there

I don't think it's really stepping on toes at all. I mea if we plan on having it for year on end it needs it own name

Yeah I'm still waiting on approval from ME for legal use of thier name for our event, use of their name will make the name a lot easier to come up with and give others a good grasp that we actually are committed and taking the time to put this together and also promotes the fourm as well!

Yeah! Especially if we could get stickers or something to promote it. To let people know that we're serious about it!

I just wonder if ME is going to allow the use of their name.

Ehhh idk, since they didn't start it you know, and if something went wrong , their name is attached to it. I'd think they would only put their name on things that they plan. Not saying anything bad would happen but that's what they have to think about

After reading through 15 pages y'all got a good thing going. Maybe I'll fly into STL and rent a stang to drive to Columbia haha it's a little far for me to travel from ATL.

Not really I drove from Hannibal MO to ATL last summer and it was a Beautiful drive and it only took about 9 or 10 hours. I live in OH now and it is a 11 hour drive for me I am planning on making it.

On a serious note you should post this up in the regional section and on other forums. Your magic number should be at least 100 expect around 50% turn out. I've planned many events.

Also when is the stang round up meet in Columbia ? Is that at the same day and time? Lastly from experience you'll get the most turn out Saturday. Walk over to the University of Missouri and talk to the college students over there I bet a few drive Mustangs

It takes me about 10 miserable hours to St.Louis and then another about hour and 30 to Columbia. It's 55 minute flight wheels up to wheels down haha

Wow I hope your car can make it that sounds like a terrible long drive(-; you might even have to stop for a break or two

You can put a monkey behind the wheel of a Lamborghini, it doesn't mean he'll turn good laps at Laguna Seca. Lol

Oh man that's tough! I hope your legs don't cramp up too much.

Edit: I will have the decals by then, or I will hand deliver them in Columbia, and personally put them on your car to your satisfaction.

Obviously you've never used a good camera lol. It makes taking good pictures very easy. Of course you still have to have things to photograph. A "good" picture of an ugly rock is still a picture if an ugly rock.

I worked as a photographer at a nature camp for 2 years the right equipment makes all the difference in the world .

I've been doing photography and graphic design for over 10 years. I have a +$3000 DSLR. Everything was meant as a joke, so don't get butthurt. A tool is only as good as the one holding it, that's my point. So obviously your a bit to touchy.

Just a thought guys...our Club uses Flags on antennas...looks really cool at shows and can also be used in caravan but they get ragged from running high speed of course...

Perhaps if you intend to make this an annual event, it woudl justify the price of a ME flag to be used...

An example at Shelbyfest last April in Hermann, Mo.
