Well no one is saying much right now so here is what I did last Saturday and then again on Friday. I was working with our company on Rebuild Together Cleveland. We worked on six home in desperate need of repair. I was lead on three of them, so I figured I better bring the tools I might need to do all the jobs from concrete to door replacement and repair fascia and gutter repair plaster repair well you got the idea. Glad I didn't have another house to do cause I almost ran out of room

What I worked on today I have the garage organized and ready for the 68 to come into it this winter. My Shelby will be at a friends house in his extra garage bay covered up and a battery tender on her. I am hoping the rotisserie and car will fit and allow me to walk around it. We shall see

Best run of the night was a 12.67 at 113. 2.050 60 foot on street tires.

Times seemed a little slow based on everyone else's times and I did have a 175 lb passenger too. It's got 12.5s in it. Not too shabby for stock suspension too. Here's a shot of my time slips.

Looks like as the evening went on you get better takeoffs. One of these days I am going to get to a track and see what I can do. I have never done it before so I am betting they will really slow

I just put them in descending order. First run was the 12.8. Middle three were 12.6s and the last one was a 12.7 and I could tell the track was getting slick so I quit after that. Happy with the consistency of my middle runs. Usually my first one is always the slowest to get a feel for the track prep that day.

It was the Tennessee valley Mustang club. They came and me and my brother went with them on a cruise through 3 states.

Well I finally got done with putting a heater up in my garage. I have had it for around three weeks now trying to get it done before the cold weather hit, that didn't work so well. Last weekend I put my Shelby to bed in a friends garage so I could clear out enough space to put the 68 and other assorted tools around to work on it. Yesterday I changed oil did a get ready for winter on my and my wife's cars. So today I spent running gas lines and hanging the heater then hooking it all up. Next weekend the 68 is in the garage and will not come out till the panels and bottom are done(-;

Hey all, I haven't been on ME in months. Just really busy. Not much has changed with the Stang, just some front mud flaps, carbon fiber dash inlay, and a new shift knob. I have my LCA's, shocks, struts, and gt500 strut mounts ready to install. I'm just waiting until I get all my suspension parts to install them.

I will try and be on here more often!

Well today was the first day of my auto body welding class. I was trying to weld on some practice pieces and decided I had better take a class at an adult education center. As I was talking to the instructor about what I was doing he said just bring my 68 into the next class and he will show me and help me do it correctly. What a bonus now for the cost of the class I get my quarter welded in correctly top it off with he is also the auto body instructor and is teaching the next class and said bring it in then and we can paint it. Double Bonus

What type of welding were you learning? I've tried stick, mig and oxy acetylene. I was good at oxy, and might wasn't too bad but stick is an art. Any who that's awesome you're gonna get some help with body work. Can't wait to see it.

The class is for auto body work so Mig of course and Oxy Acetylene with a liittle plastic welding tossed in.

The next class is all about prep work and painting. I have a Mig at my house with a rotisserie and O&A torch to finish it off before the next class. If things work out right next fall the paint will be done and I will be focusing on engine and interior. Good thing I put in a 40,000 btu heater in the garage. I will be toasty while I work.

I learned stick welding years ago when no one could afford a Mig. I used to do a pretty good job putting thicker stuff together but it never had to be inspected just hold things together. Of course there was always grinding that made them look better.
