You are correct my brother! Do it! Not only teksid block but many other features were reduced after 96. It definitely is the best platform of those years.

But 96-98, some 99 and a few 01 cobras came teksid. Mark VIII's in some years. And on and on. I paid more than that for my 97, just saying. It was already lowered and had the Saleen kit tho. I'd take that car back in a heartbeat!

This is almost identical to how my cobra sit. Of course it didn't have the Saleen badging on the sides. It had a wicked fiberglass hood and flush mount spoiler. It was sitting on staggered chrome cobra R's. 9's and 11's. Of course it had a hundred shot too, purged out the cobras mouth that I put in the front. I'll have to find some pics.

Good looking car but it's a little different. Lol. Somebody would have to be buying it for the passion.

Yeah the thing that kills me is trying to balance my itch for having a stang again and I'm close to being able to pay off my student loans. It's like there's 1 little guy on each shoulder arguing back and forth at each other trying convince me which route to choose.

I'm always leary of posts like that. You have no idea what is really wrong with the car, then they are in desperate need of money yet they will consider trades.

They are pretty easy to turn up the boost and have a quick older car.

Found one I wanted Friday night late and of course it was gone early Saturday. Then there is a nice 99 GT white, camel top, but it's a little bit of a drive. I'm like Mark and the itch is getting worse. Steve if you are volunteering to buy I accept. Ha

Yes if it was a bit cheaper. I'm thinking on SVO, finally got more pictures and info. It would be good on gas and still run hard.

Alright, thanks that's what I thought. I saw twister II and the 70 twister specials came to mind. And the thought of a second generation. Just wanted to see if I was right or wrong.
