That's how I feel about my chevy. I bought it so it could take a beating and handle the salt mud and water ( lots of gravel roads too) durring winter and work wile my mustang sits quietly away in a climate controlled garage waiting for the sunshine lol.
Plus I bought it to save a friend who lost his job from having it taken by the bank so... There's that too

Not bad, I was considering one. They're ginormous though. Not very nimble.

They are the cheapest big v8 power but the cars are waaaaaaay too heavy. They need to trim about 1000 lbs off.

Well it is a New Dodge that should say enough. I like the looks but they are not worth the money and if they hold true to the New Dodge traditions they will be a money pit in a few years

I'm not impressed with any new cars around 40k I keep hearing BAD things about the new 5.0 mustangs having transmission issues electric issues knocks computer issues warranty issues ect...
---------- Post added at 04:09 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:06 PM ----------
I'm starting to think I would get more satisfaction out of an old 69 mustang and putting like 40k into it. I'd LOVE a clasic stang with a new 2012 5.0 engine in it...

There are a lot of re builders out there if you take your time you can find some really great deals. I have a 68 I need to get back East so I can get to work on it. It is at my brothers house sitting on the side of his garage. He starts it ever once in awhile so I know the 289 is good. Body needs a touch of help and a paint job the interior on the other hand is gone. I hope to get it back here this year but I have been saying that since 2004 when I moved to Ohio.

I was at Summit racing the other day and they had a set of Aluminum Edelbrock heads with valves for $600 a piece about half price. I almost picked them up and decided not to until I get it here and see what it really needs. I like walking around Summit there is so much adult candy there it could take days to figure it all out.

What kind of tranny issues? SYNC screws up all the time in my car with my iPod. Always freezes or randomly won't start up when I start my car.
