Ego

So just was told since I have a new car, red, sports car, I have a ego problem. Anyone else told the same thing?
Never thought it was bad thing to buy what you work hard for and baby it to make sure it lasts.

Its only an ego problem if you got it to show off to others (everyone does that a little)

Ego? There's no room in this world for such behavior.

However, every so often on a weekend I take out the old girl and take a cruise down to the old Vick's Drive-in where all the other enthusiast meet. I'll stay just for a moment so that the common folk can witness and gaze upon my machines beauty and greatness.

I see it all to often, that stare that they can't break. They are completely captivated. I see their hopes and dreams and all too often they dream the same.
They dream that all their life's accomplishments and success would at least amount to a fraction of my greatness.

...and then I drive away.

Yea I agree, same reason why people get Harley's, it's a name, be apart of unique crowd, but probably everyone is gonna get labeled or judged a certain way.
I was just told that subconsciously a person with car like yours or mine has an ego issue deep within, or is in need to prove something.

Yea that's a bunch of bull,
