Great Time At Team Ford in Marietta, GA Superchip Dyno

Well It was fun had some really nice cars and trucks getting tuned By Jerry and Superchip Custom Tuning Guys. (Jerry is now with Superchip, he still goes programming for Fordchip though)

Almost everything was supercharged and Team Ford even grilled out burgers and hotdogs. I have some pics to put up but that will be tonight. Jeff (KrazyPony) went with me and took the pics we even have video of the dyno run. In the first video you see a guy standing by my car with a pony tail That is Mike Troyer of Troyer Performance Products came all the way from Virginia. He is talking to Jerry and as I came up to the car he moves out of the way and steps on the moving dyno wheel hahhahahahaha. He is lucky he did not get slung into the wall behind the car

well I was at
143rwhp
170rwtq

On the baseline run before Jerry even started tuning I was at 161rwhp and 204rwtq and all I had done was change plugs and installed my O/R H pipe so now I know alot of my missing hp was the old damn cats

now I am
168rwhp
214.7rwtq

I have talked to Pete and Jerry at Fordchip and with Mikael and I have head issues. It seems when my heads were ported they were not done to match my stage 3 intakes and there is the bottle neck. I have a set of Big Valve heads coming from mikael that will fix this problem so I am still on the hunt for 200+ rwhp N/A before I put the Vortech on MUHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH

Didnt I say that would be a problem? Or is that on another persons car??? That is my problem as well (we think) so I have to get a new ported lower.

How will big valve heads help if your lower is ported bigger than your heads????

Corey..

I just cannot see any way in hell you are going to hit 200rwhp N/A.

Do you really think you will get that much???

Imagine.. 200rwhp N/A then a 60% increase with the blower... 320hp!!!!!!!!!

Listen I got from 143 to 168 with just taking off my cats and installing a O/R H pipe That is 25 HP guys and that is nothing to sneeze at when Robert, Pete, Mikael and Jerry say my intakes and cam is to big for my heads that is another 20 to 30 HP . The fact is the BIG VALVE heads flow alot better than My P&P heads. I will promise you this when I get the new heads I will bet I am close to 200. I might not pass it go get 200 actually but I will be close. Hell If I get 190 RWHP I will be more than pleased. Hell in a Automatic 190rwhp is way over 98 GT hp. A auto stock 5.0 was only around 170 RWHP. Hell at the dyno last year Stock 99 and up auto GT's were only running 210 220 RWHP

There was a guy there in a 99 Torch/Orange Red GT that had been at 650rwhp, with a NOVI2000 S/C

Enjoy!
